For our production we put in place a system of production methods and means of defense against adversity that minimize the use of pesticides, rationalize fertilization, in general respect the principles of ecology, economics, and toxicology. All phases of production, from soil preparation to harvest, are made in compliance with food safety, the environment and operators.

Working - Soil conservation


For us it's very important to maintain the natural balance of the elements that make up the ground. To make the soil more fertile and productive we focus our productions during the winter and in the summer time our soil rests, we do organic fertilization and solarization of the soil. We believe the fundamental practice of solarization for the sterilization of the soil and for weed.

This practice, which is in line with our technique of integrated production with low environmental impact, for us, thanks to favorable climatic conditions, it is easy to apply and we needed to get the best qualitative and quantitative results during the winter production campaign.


Food Safety


Risks assessment foreign bodies

We put in place several preventive measures in order to minimize all possible kinds of foreign bodies that can come from production sites, from workers and from machines. The staff is trained; we daily check the crops, all harvest operations and all the machines to guarantees total conformity of product.

Harvest hygiene

All staff is trained regularly on hygiene standards to be met during production, harvesting, and food safety. It has also been sensitized on the high standards of product quality demanded by the market and that for years have been the strength of our company.

Water source

The water is used, which is derived from wells, can be declared fit to irrigation following the risk assessment for chemical and microbiological food safety. We provide the water monitoring to ensure all the necessary parameters by analysis on a monthly basis.


Monitoring - Quality Control


The technical staff performs daily monitoring of crops to schedule harvest and to control the quality of the pre-harvest product.

The harvest staff is trained on the qualitative characteristics and the main product defects, makes a synthetic control of the product pre-harvest and during the mechanical harvesting.

In the final stage of the production process, the warehouse staff, which is assigned to the final labelling of the product and to the preparation of pallets for cooling and shipping, makes an analytical quality control in the crates, random on each pallet, according to product specifications imposed by each customer. From this control we have a numeric result comparable with the customer and, in the event of non-compliance, we make immediate communication to the final customer with photos and analytical data.
